We've had unusually mild weather recently. That could be why these last.

Thank you. I love this color combo. Hope they come back next year.

Yes, hopefully they come back for you! I'm guessing because of the below freezing weather they're dying back?

Yep, the last snow did them in. They were nice while the lasted - like a flash of color.

Awww! Do they usually die down this early in the year?

Not usually

Do they usually last through Christmas? I know they look terrific here around Christmas.

I haven't seen them here around Christmas. They are usually done by Thanksgiving. I had to shovel my walk again this morning. My world monochromatic at this time, lol. I'd love to see some color.

Bathgate:
I'll have to get some time to post some of the gorgeous flowering tropical trees around San Diego, right now. This year it's going to be spectacular because of the very hot temps dry weather we've been having.
My African Tulip tree is flowering and has so many new buds. I just took a pic this morning. It was another 80 plus degrees here. It's been a month of 80's and 90's! Crazy! Maybe late next week back to normal upper 60's and low 70's weather.
