These birds were just put in a few years ago at my friend's condo. They have now gotten fairly large and blooming so well. Photo taken December 26, 2017.

They might possibly have some of the Yellow bird of paradise DNA in it.

I've seen them as cut flowers here , in the UK, & I'm sure I saw them growing in a greenhouse in the Cambridge Botanical Gardens some years ago.
These are a lovely clump! ?
