Bird-of-Paradise Flowering (Strelitzia reginae)

Bird-of-Paradise Flowering (Strelitzia reginae) (Bird-of-Paradise Flowering (Strelitzia reginae))

These birds were just put in a few years ago at my friend's condo. They have now gotten fairly large and blooming so well. Photo taken December 26, 2017.

I've seen them as cut flowers here , in the UK, & I'm sure I saw them growing in a greenhouse in the Cambridge Botanical Gardens some years ago.

These are a lovely clump! ?

They might possibly have some of the Yellow bird of paradise DNA in it.

Balcony:

It's a very common plant here. It grows everywhere.
