I wonder why? I have two, the other one has slightly paler flowers, they're late this year.

Yes, mine are late too. My yellow one has very tightly shit buds (Arnold Promise) and my orange one has only just started flowering.

So welcome at this time of year, if you get close, cup your hands around the flower, you can smell them beautifully.

I did think about it today Dawn, but then I forgot. I find that as I go around my garden I have to make mental lists.....like first I'll pick up those tools and put them away, then I'll tidy up the Dog's lead, then I'll move that plant support lying on the grass...and on it goes...otherwise I just get distracted by yet another thing! Yesterday and today I removed all of the dead leaves and twigs (and litter) from under the roadside of the hedge, and ordered 40 primula vulgaris to plant down there. I might put some snowdrops in too, and perhaps some tete a tete. Then people will be able to see its a garden as they drive past.

You've been busy, I haven't :-(. Such a cold easterly wind here. The primula will look great and will of course seed around, love them. The snowdrops and tete a tete sound perfect, no maintenance, will just die down and return each year, perfect. When I walk round, I take a pen and paper and jot down jobs and then work my way through them, saves time in the long run.

I make lengthy lists too Dawn, usually when to prune, feed, etc.....and new ideas, have been moving all the statues around this week, well OH has lol!!

Dotty. You sound like me, listing everything! If I don't, I forget! Are you happy with the new statue situ's?
