Finally opening in the sun today

Love these. I've hankered after some for ages, and resisted some beauties at a local nursery but apparently they need a perpetually moist soil and though ours is soggy now it dries out in summer?

Stera - these are in clay soil improved with grit and are very happy there. It can get baked in summer but the soil is shaded by foliage from perennials.

I bulked mine up a couple of years ago by buying them "in the green" from Eurobulbs. Ordered more snowdrops this year and they arrived on Saturday. Frozen fingers by the time I had planted them!

Good idea, I think ours came from a nursery in Wales! just normal snowdrops Andrew?

Yes, the bog standard ones. They also sell doubles and a couple of others too.
