Thats what I see in the verges beside drainage channels here...that colour.

The variegated ones aren't as invasive. They work well for me on the brook banks in areas a bit scrubby, hide a multitude and great weed suppressers but weeds themselves I guess.

Almost aquatic plant Stera, they thrive here in all my wet clay.
