I did have "Wendy's Gold" but I think a vole made a run right under the spot where it was growing ...
Brian, do you grow them in pots ? and if yes what compost do you use and what size pot

they are all over in stone troughs outside in purpose made wooden ones inside and many more in the open garden,if you want to grow them in a pot they are not that fussy what goes in it as long as it drains well and not dry baked in summer (that's a joke )not sure what the sun looks like,remember if you use plastic better drainage than if in clay,size of pots depends how many bulbs 1 would grow in a 3 to 4 inch one
