The Straberry Snowball tree grows to become a very large tree. Most Dombeya species flower during the winter. Photo taken Feb. 4, 2018.

It's too bad the photo isn't clearer. It's difficult to get a good photo at this time of evening.
This tropical Madagascar native really is quite a spectacular bloomer. It grows pretty fast, also. It's not known what the maximum height is in California. It was introduced into California in the early 1960's. I know this tree is more than 60' (18 m) tall.
