Clematis "Winter Beauty"

Isnt that wonderful! Lovely to see you Phyl! I bought a tiny one of this a few years back, and its flowering now, but has lost all of its leaves. Still.....it will get stronger as it matures.

Just goes to show how a good cutting can grow! It looks so healthy Phyl ... :o)

Thanks Karen and Shirley I`m pleased with how it looks just wish it was perfumed, unfortunately its no substitute for the Jasmine I had to cut down due to cushion scale, however I have now planted a new Jasmine on the other side of the door.

No, it's no jasmine. But the leaves are as lovely as the flowers....and flowering in February....wonderful!

That's a cracker. How long ago did you take the cutting?

Waddy if I remember rightly it was about June 2016 when I was cutting back the one that is climbing the shed, I stuck about 3 or 4 pcs into the soil at the base of it but only had success with one.

That's amazing to see how much it's grown in only a couple of years.
