Hi Janey & Sheila. They are very affectionate & cuddly.

Very sweet little rabbit Paul. I have had a few rabbits as pets in the past and they used to come indoors for a run sometimes. I kept a cat little tray in the corner and they used that. I even rescued a baby hare where I worked in glasshouses ...a very long time ago....on the Isle of Wight when we lived there. The grass was long and the grounds man was using the cutting machine between the greenhouses and came across a baby hare. Of course the little one didn't have any cover then, so he bought the baby to me. I took it home and gave it the run of the little bedroom. It used a tray for its toilet and I got some milk and fed it from a small pipette several times. I gradually got it on to it's natural green foods, and then when it was old enough, I took it back to the wild where it came from and let it go. It was still wild as it used to attack Gerry if he came into the room and I didn't make it into a pet either.

LOL poor Gerry! What did the hare have against him? You seem to know instinctively how to care for them. They are so quiet and trouble free. This one has the run of the house and only uses his cage to sleep and for toilette. He's very good about that. He seems to crave cuddles & kisses.
