White are so nice

I have self seeded ones :) They're very pretty aren't they.

I like them alot, did yours self seed from white Hywel or are yours the traditional ones

I take seed each year from both the white and the purple ones, but they do take a while to get to flowering size, even if you don't dig them up by mistake.

That's a good idea Siris, is it easy to collect seed, I will give it a go.

I take seed and sow immediately, they germinate the following spring, like now, then I plant out the pot of seedlings, leave them, forget where they are, then dig up by mistake, but all in all, they do increase .

Haha Siris and we always think we’ll remember where bulbs are. Right, so you collect seed when still green, soon after the flower fades?

Dawn, I collect the seed pods when they turn brown and papery and are just starting to split open, that's early summer ish. Squashing Lily Beetles as I see them!
