Mine are still without leaves! We've had three days with temps in the 20's so it won't be long. Blackflies (bloodsuckers) are out now.. always something to spoil the pudding!

Our springs are usually amazingly quick, Dawn. Hard to believe it was only one month ago (April 17) that we were under another foot of snow and freezing rain. Today things are finally breaking dormancy and I see growth in everything. (especially the grass and my lawn mower is defunct!)

Plants are fascinating! There a lady n a gardening site in Norway, like you, she can have -10 temps in Spring and by June her plants catch up and are at times further on than mine.
