Here's a shrub that looks nice all 4 seasons and very low maintenance.

Me too, Linda, just an errant growth here and there I can nip with scissors. It gave me a bunch of red berries last year - unexpected surprise. Well, the birds ate them.

Just seen this - very nice! But I think you might find its Gold Queen - google Silver Queen and compare them. I have silver queen and it hasn't a hint of gold colour.

Thanks Alan. I really appreciate it in winter when everything else is grey & brown. It's prone to spider mites but plenty of sun & air circulation keeps it clean. It can handle the worst of winters and the hottest of summers.

We have one of these between our bungalows Paul. We just give it a haircut now and again to keep it in shape.
