'Mable Esther Stutz'

How beautiful and what a lovely way to remember your grandmother.

Thanks. You see on here, from time to time, people wanting to know what flowers have a name of someone they want to remember. There aren't a lot of them by the name of Mable, so I made one just for her.

What a pretty one gorgeous pinks what a wonderful thought that will last eternal also recorded for others in the future. I use to live next door to an oap called Mable she was a lovely lady. Congratulations on your registration Wylie.

Did you know the name Mable means loveable and Stutz derives from German means a steep cliff where people lived on a steep cliff.

Thanks! If you want to get complicated with names, shortly after the divorce became final between my grandparents, he was a policeman in Seattle, and was shot and killed by a bank robber. My grandmother remarried Brigham Stutz who went by 'Bill'. I was named after him - William, but I go by Wylie. He was from Idaho and was the offspring in a polygamous marriage.

Oh boy, I bet your family tree takes some sorting out!

My grandfather was killed in 1930, when my mother was 9 years old. It affected her, but it was 20 years before I was born. My grandmother celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary to the only man I knew as a grandfather, and she lived to be 101.

A long time ago then so you never knew him yes your grandfather would be the one you were bought up with . Wow she lived to a great age what was her secret to long life being happy with your grandfather Bill I would think. ☺
