Lagerstroemia flowers....

I saw these in the GC today Angela, and almost bought one, but I thought I'd check out the hardiness first. Lovely shrubs. They look evergreen, but they aren't.

We bought this in France many years ago, has had a very difficult life, but now growing well.......

Lol, don't forget we have been gardening a long, long, time!! Did you see on last week's Gardener's World....Adam Frost was given one on Father's Day, a much larger one!! of course...

Will be interesting to see how his tree developed....

Lovely looking flowers but this is the first time I think I have ever seen them.

It looks great! They're all in full bloom here, also. It's widely used as a street tree here in San Diego.
