The 3 or 4 Fuchsias I have at present on the balcony are showing signs of picking up once again. :) The two from my friend, Dick at church, are showing buds & a few flowers though my own plants from previous years are doing very well.

The golden one, Genii, which my son bought me for my birthday back in May, unfortunately wasn't able to survive. ;( The relentless scorching sun over so many weeks proved to be too much for it!

That's good news about your fuchsias. Sometimes they are quite surprising.

The couple I still have from Dick are flowering again! One is called 'Patio Princess' (the last one he gave me & which I didn't expect to survive!) & 'John Grooms' which has some buds opening again! I tried to get some cuttings to root from this one but every single one died! I seem to be loosing my touch for rooting & growing Fuchsias in the last few years! 😞

Yet 'Beacon' & 'Lady Boothby' are growing strongly! I've even been able to root a cutting for her again this year & that is doing well at present! Yet the mother plant shows little inclination to grow as strong as her daughters! It hasn't produced one single flower so far this year & there are no signs of buds either, yet the couple of branches it does have look quite healthy!
