Interesting photo, takes me back to my A level botany lessons in school.
Mosses don't have flowers and fruits. They have capsules in which spores are produced. The wind disperses the spores.
They used to be classed as Bryophytes, together with liverworts but I think more research has caused this this to change now and Mosses are placed in a class of their own.
