For my records. This Geum has soft pale yellow flower from May to August. Ht. & spread of 16" (40cm)

Janey, sounds good to me! I divided one our daughter gave me as a gift as it had grown into a decent sized clump. Just hope the divisions thrive.

I do think they get a bit mardy being disturbed.. I moved my vivid Blazing Sunset....and that was it!...:(( fingers crossed for yours....

Long time since I heard about anything getting 'Mardy' Janey! ;) My relations in Sheffield also use the expression 'It's got Monk on' which I absolutely love! Lincs. vs. Yorks I guess! :) Here, we would say that your Geum was 'Crabbit'.

This will be a lovely Geum Shirley, they are one of my favourite plants, I plan to have a couple more next year...:))
