A wonderful show this year, my Golden Birch with its stunning white bark, shines brilliantly down the garden...:))

Thanks Sheila, it really is....and growing too large, it enjoyed the heat. It's the same as the Silver birch but in spring the new leaves are a yellow/lime green and stay that colour till Autumn. Also they're never scorched by hot sun and this year has proved that. I shall have to get the loppers out in winter though...:((

I love this tree......we had one but it was a poor specimen, so it had to go unfortunately.......they do grow large....

Thats a beauty Janey , I'm planning on buying a white barked Silver birch once i'm sorted out .. I'll see if its on my nursery list ...
