Hi Amy. The beach is roughly 5 miles from my house; too far to walk, but, there's a bicycle path which leads out there which I use occasionally, It's a good workout however (drive).

Very nice ,our son and his boys are cycling enthusiast they love getting out on them at weekends ..

Wow! It's empty! lol! It must be great to have a beach to yourself.

Here in the San Diego the beaches have been pretty packed because the weather has been pretty warm (upper 70's to low 80's) this last week.

The weather got cold & windy and during the work week, the beaches are empty. I had the day off. A few anglers casing a line here and there, joggers, nature lovers. That's about all you see this time of year. Beach season is between Memorial Day & Labor Day.

That's lovely … nothing there except the sea and sand … and nobody there except yourself ! Wonderful :)

Having been to Jones Beach on the hottest day of the year...
What a contrast? Isn't it just too wonderful to catch it like this.

Oh yes for sure. It's nice to actually see the sand, and not sit in traffic for 2 hours. lol!
