Love those! I noticed today that the hazel catkins are out already too.

Well they might be but they are so long I thought they might be Garrya ellipytica - I have seen it grown as a standard. Its beautiful anyway.

I've also noticed lots of Catkins recently. Am I right in thinking they're earlier than usual. That's a lovely picture btw Brian.

I've not seen anything like your picture around here yet but I have seen a few bushes with catkins. No idea if they might be earlier this year as I don't have any photos of catkins.

I bet Jamie found the scent of a girl friend seeking her out. 😊.

Hazel catkins are full out round here and seem to be doing even better than usual. Yes I'm sure they are early - I seem to remember them being out around Easter when we lived further north

Have never seen so many, no good for me, I should be sneezing my head off!!
