Even though the deciduous trees foliage is absent.This allows the evergreens and conifers to be more distinctive. I especially like this time of year (without the freezing temperatures!)

I enjoy the winter sometimes too, when it's mild and when the bulbs come up. I like to see the leafless trees against the sky :)

I agree with you about the view ... lovely. We drove to Arundel earlier and, without the leaves on the trees, it gives such a clear view across the river to the castle. Not normally as clear in the Summer.

Its nice to hear of someone enjoying our winter! I like it too. A great sense of anticipation and some crisp sunny days.
