Yes, this palm is not hardy, unfortunately. It will tolerate cool weather; however, not cold weather.

Those are great looking palms. Mine became gopher food about a week after I bought it.

All the palms are growing very well with all the rain.
My Alexander palms are looking excellent now. They were looking dry and pretty horrible by the end of last year.(because of the extreme drought).
