Dawn the flowers appear before the leaves there's no sign of my leaves yet , with luck you may still find you have flowers .... I hope so ..

Sheila, I moved mine to a better spot, it was doing everso well until the frost.

There's a big tree at the bottom of the our street which flowers very nicely every year. I haven't been down there in a while but it may have finished flowering by now though.

It is,Dawn! I've looked at photos from previous years & I don't think it will start blooming till next week - the first week in May.

I want to get a couple this week if the tree is in bloom. I can't see it from this end of the street. It's also in the opposite direction to the way we normally go when we go out & unless I make the decision to go in that direction I'm unlikely to remember!

I've been told by a friend today that Cercis siliquastrum is the best flowerer, theirs is loaded with blossom

I'll have to look that one up Dawn but daren't choose to many big trees ,The gorgeous purple leaves have started to emerge on mine this week ..
