the Pond this year

Love the Arum lilies.

Do you leave the calla lilies in over winter, or pull them out in the fall. I bought some bulbs this spring and thought about putting them in the water, but planted them on land instead. Yours are gorgeous!

We leave most out - some in the water, some in bog garden and some in dry borders (aren't they versatile!) but i always have a few in a cold greenhouse just in case! We've found some plants overwinter better in water - Vietnamese Coriander ( a persicaria) was far too tender to leave out - but when a potful got left in the pond accidently (forgot to water it!) it has thrived for many winters!!!
