Wild cockatoos

Beautiful bird,

I've been to Manly!!! AAAhhhhh memories!! It's a gorgeous beach isn't it, better than Bondi. I'll have to get the old photos out now and go through them again!!! Not looked at them for ages. Not digital though so can't get them on the PC

We have them here in pet shops. How neat to see one in the wild. What a great place to visit your son.

We really loved it, Manly was gorgeous, remember the row of sky high firs Joannie? Loved the ferry, this was Jims mode of transport to work. He's moved to DeeWhy now just up the coast a bit.

Yes I do remember the firs! We went down river on the ferry into Sydney and then we crossed the harbour to the zoo and there where lots of cockatoos in a park near the harbour. AAhhhhh, happy memories. Stuart and family live up near Brisbane now...I'd love to visit one day, Have a fear of flying though so will need to pluck up lots of courage:-(

Yes, I know what you mean, Jim will be getting married 2010 but I won't be looking forward to the flight!

Oh, yes. :-) Hows that little Dylan of yours Joannie?

He's great! Had his first encounter with the 2 cats across the road this morning. It was so funny to watch. Dylan and Max sat less than a metre apart on our garden just looking at each other for about 20 minutes. Then Max went home and Dylan skipped after him looking really pleased with himself....it's the first time he's crossed the road. Paddy then came on the scene and Dylan ran under their car. Paddy and Max sat looking at him for ages but finally he came out and went round the back of a house that's empty and up for sale with Max. That's when I thought it was time he came home!

Ha..ha.. typical teenager then?!...lol
