You must have a good balance of wildlife around you to have a grass snake living there Dawn.

We must, I think that’s why the tawny owls nest in the garden too, lots of voles etc

How lovely to have Tawny Owls near you Dawn. Sometimes at dusk, we hear them terwit terwooing across the fields from here.
