Before trimming the Mahonia I found this bird's nest.

Probably fallen from the Leylanddi trees during the high winds.A Blackbird's nest,I think.

Isn't it wonderful how they can do this with just a beak?

Agree, it’s quite incredible. We found a tiny nest once (wren’s?) lined with what looked like a spider’s web: cosy.
