A twining variegated evergreen showing its Autumn colours. The only cutting I managed to root which has mostly white leaves is still managing to survive outside.
The leaves of my green variety never colour up in winter.

Amy, You are probably right about your Trach being the green, I've had my plain green over 20 years, and it never colours in winter. It had a serious prune this Autumn, it had extended the length of the lounge window at gutter height and the birds were nesting in it. The window sill was covered in droppings.

I believe the variegated is a little tender, so possibly suffering from the chilly weather, although it doesn't drop its leaves.

We haven't protected it. ?ヾ(*’O’*)/

I don't protect mine either. It gets no sun in the winter either.
