Aloe arborescens in bloom.

This is a beauty, Stan! The colour, the detail on this aloe is amazing!
I had an aloe many years ago, which survived several winters. Sadly it died after one winter we suffered a few months of snow.

Amazing Stan but I don't think you'd dare grow it outside here. More a conservatory or houseplant. Is that red Ti next to it? Beautiful colour.

BOTH those Ti plants I've been told by various experts are sold as "Red Sister". To me,the foreground is closer to red on newest leaves...the other with that neon Pink has to be another name /cultivar. It also is more compact in growth. Not even quite half the height of the Burgundy plant.

It looks great! It took 6 years for it to bloom?! WOW! That's a long time. It must have been grown from a seed? Cuttings bloom within the first year.

Hey Andy..where you been? It was pretty small when I got it. It also grew very slow as long as the pup had pure white markings..it picked up speed when this largest shoot with more of pale green filled in the middle.
It has more yellow in the flowerstalk than the camera brought out. Catches the eye up close.
Toyed with the idea of planting it..but might be best like this in a pot. I can keep an eye on it here.
