Yes, I have had similar thoughts to be honest Angela. I might try using my phone for a while and see how that goes.

I no longer use a camera just the one included in my mobile phone. To be honest I think many of my photos are better from the mobile than from a camera. Besides which as you carry it with you all the time it's so much easier to whip it out to take a shot of anything that catches your eye & you don't have to remember top pick it up before you go out into the garden (or balcony!) or the street! Also a lot lighter & takes up less space!

Now, there's a thing. I never carry my mobile phone. I have hardly any clothes with pockets, and the ones I do...my trousers...if I put my phone in there, it always ends up on the floor when I go to the loo!

Balcony I agree with you, I had this Nikon camera which weighed a ton! and although the photographs were always reliable, it was a pain to carry around....whereas I always have my phone with me, lots of pockets Karen! especially zipped ones in my gardening togs! and the added bonus of taking a photograph with just a voice command, so I can use two hands to steady the phone for closeups ......sorted!

Now...I am actually due an upgrade! And maybe I could invest in some pockets! ;) seriously rhough, I bought some ski pants with braces in a sale and they are the ‘best’ thing for working in in winter. So cosy and waterproof ..plenty of good pockets too!

I have an upgrade in June, have been checking out the best camera phone already!

Now you will have no excuse for not carrying your mobile camera around with you! :D :D :D
