THANKS KAREN.
IN THE HOME WHERE WE USED TO LIVE, DATED 1795, I USED TO FIND BITS OF CLAY PIPE, BLUE AND WHITE BITS OF POTTERY, BLUE BITS OF GLASS, AND SEVERAL OTHER PIECES IN THE GARDEN.

How lovely to live somewhere that old! All we find here, in our Mid-Victorian, is bits of pottery and broken glass from the 20th Century. Although we did find a Victorian scent bottle once. :)

VICTORIAN STYLE HOMES ARE LOVELY KAREN, AND HAVE SOME CHARACTER. WE NOW LIVE IN A BUNGALOW, BUT THE OLD LODGE WAS LOVELY AND I ALWAYS THOUGHT OF ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAD LIVED THERE BEFORE AND WONDERED HOW THEY COPED AND WHAT THEY WERE LIKE.
