Thanks ladies......this was taken before we had a severe hail storm.....which has marked some of the flowers....luckily there are lots of flowers still to come.....
Karen we have Susan and Grandiflora....the big one!! which has a beautiful flower.....Leonard Messel is another lovely variety....

l like M Stellaria too. Many beautiful M soulangiana around but Stellaria makes a nice change.

I agree, I love Stellata Magnolias. I think I prefer them to the big tulip shaped ones. I have two of these and also a new Leonard Messel which, as you know, has the similar flower shape.
