There is a tiny white spider on my butterfly bush. It's very hard to see, wish I had a macro lens...

Yes, I put my lens on the macro setting, it is a Rebel XTI. Even so, I could get much closer with a macro lens.

I had a set of macro lens and polarizing filters for my old Pentax K1000 SLR camera but the digital I have just has a macro feature and it's not as good, still it works okay for most things. With those old macros you could practically get microscopic shots. Well, ok I exaggerate but you know what I mean.

I get these in my garden. Someone put up a pic recently and said it was a death spider, but thankfully not deadly to humans only other insects.

Are you getting this clear a close up without a macro feature? That's great. They look great. You have a beautiful garden!
