Been out in the garden all week and today decided to cut a few tulips and have a play around with the camera. Made the wooden backdrop out of some wooden planks I had and gave it a bit of a white waterwash, hope you like it.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments, feel a bit lucky that I can still do the two things that I really enjoy most with the garden and the photography.

It has a great atmosphere with the light, it reminds me of one of the Old Masters paintings..:))

What else?
See who else is growing Tulipa acuminata (Tulip).
See who else has plants in genus Tulipa.

Definitely like it! I think your project works well, the wooden background really highlights your tulips.
Very artistic with the little bird and the rope around the glass. The tulips really are pretty.
