Apple Blossom Golden Delicious

Pretty. I was smelling some apple blossom yesterday, very delicate. Do you like this variety of Apple? I seem to remember a time when the shops were inundated with Golden Delicious apples. I think I got a bit tired of them!

they're not my favourite Ff I prefer Coxes or Russet but bought this on a whim as its a patio tree and since we've down sized I need to think about space ,I bought a vic. plum and this apple ... Thanks 3p ...

I hope your Victoria plum does well for you, they gave the best flavour of all the plums I think.

Yes Amy....I hope so too. I have loads of blossom anyway...best yet in this new garden. The apples look promising as well. I think there will be plenty of blossom there too.

I, too, like to see fruit trees in flower. I still remember the apple tree on Gerry's allotment. We sited the shed underneath it! He also had 3-4 Victoria Plum trees & a black plum that was very hard. There were also some Yellow plum trees on the plot as well.

I bet you ate loads David , there's nothing like picking your own fruit and eating it ..I like allotments its so interesting to see what other people are growing .....

You are right, Amy, I did! only the tree on Gerry's allotment was a cooker! I think I mentioned about making apple crumble pies as well as apple & black current pies!
