Bearded Iris: Cherub's Smile

I like. I've just looked it up in the data base to see it's parentage, and it says it's a Flamingo pink. Please don't take this in the wrong way.

Thanks for checking Siris. Is that the name or the color? It's very appropos - pink like a flamingo. I only go by it's label but that's hit & miss.

Cherub's Smile is supposed to be a Flamingo Pink colour, created by Schreiner at Salem.

I think if viewed from afar, it would appear pink.

I notice the lighting makes a difference to the colour, the time of day and if a hot day they fade, and the age of the flower. All very interesting.
