Identification of Butterfly?

This butterfly was struggling to move and it seemed one of its wings was damaged...Could this be a Forester spotted? The antennae look like those belonging to butterflies not moths.

Could it be a cream-spot tiger moth? Looked it up on Butterfly Conservation site.

LOOKING AT THE MARKINGS IT LOOKS LIKE A SCARLET TIGER MOTH IN THE BOOK I HAVE, AND THE CATERPILLARS LIVE ON COMFREY AND NETTLES.

PERHAPS IT WILL SURVIVE AS LONG AS IT GETS SOME FOOD FROM THE PLANT FLOWERS.

Lovely pic, Julia. Hopefully it’ll manage to survive despite the little injury..
