Identification of Butterfly?

This butterfly was struggling to move and it seemed one of its wings was damaged...Could this be a Forester spotted?The antennae look like those belonging to butterflies not moths.

LOOKING AT THE MARKINGS IT LOOKS LIKE A SCARLET TIGER MOTH IN THE BOOK I HAVE, AND THE CATERPILLARS LIVE ON COMFREY AND NETTLES.

PERHAPS IT WILL SURVIVE AS LONG AS IT GETS SOME FOOD FROM THE PLANT FLOWERS.

Could it be a cream-spot tiger moth? Looked it up on Butterfly Conservation site.
