Clematis x triternata Rubromarginata.

This is the first year it has grown and flowered well.My obelisk was too short(always making that mistake) so I found two metal crook stakes and positioned them either side.The overflow of Clematis growth was supported by them.The fragrance is quite strong and the flowers very pretty with two tones of pink and white.

I had it years ago - it went mad! But the scent was good.

That’s right Julia, it was a really lovely scent..I think it was probably not established well enough plus the planting site too.
