These are the Geranium plugs I bought from Primrose many weeks ago.

I do like geraniums..I guess they are a bedding plant. I’m not keen on bedding plants, but I love geraniums! Remind me of my grandfather’s garden..the smell of the leaves in particular..takes me back. Sweet peas, hydrangeas, tomatoes.

Funny how scents of leaves as well as flowers take us straight back. I love scarlet geraniums simply because of a book I adored as a child: 'The Little White Horse' by Elizabeth Goudge. (That dates me!) There were geraniums on the kitchen windowsill in that story and I could just picture it! Silly, really..

No, not silly at all, Anget! It’s really lovely..nostalgia and reminiscing is a treasure in itself. Good memories.
