It is very pretty, love the detail in the close up Shirley. I have to say I prefer the lace cap too.

Kate, I can recall when almost every garden had the huge Mop head Hydrangeas in their front gardens ... many years ago!

I think they are all making a comeback Shirley.I was never keen on them,but I'm starting to change my mind. Maybe as well I have no room for one ! Lol x

Very true, Shirley. My grandfather has an absolutely massive blue one under the front window, in the 70’s and beyond. Looking back, it was a big blousy beautiful hydrangea.

Sorry I should’ve have said he had one, he passed away several years ago.
