Nothing like home cooking Paul. I've just made some walnut flapjack. Freezes well, and I use honey brown sugar oats walnuts and butter. It will be apple crumble soon as we have quite a few apples on the espalier trees, but they are not quite ready to pick yet. I try the twist once method and if the apples come off then they are ready.

Sounds real yummy Linda. We love visiting the farms out east every fall. We have such great fun picking our own apples. Your dessert sound wonderful. Be sure to have a serving for me - with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
