Germinating seed

Flippin' heck. I sowed these eight days ago, thinking they would need a period of cold over the winter before germinating. Looks like I will be doing some pricking out soon

I've done the same Andrew, Ammi Majus and Foxgloves not expecting anything for a while, and there they all are, now I'll have to be busy!

I sowed some foxglove seed last week as well, but no sign of any germination yet. There are some growing in a local wood that have deep pink flowers, so I collected some seed during my morning walk

Lovely, bringing the woodland to your garden. I was very lucky this year to have so many, but only one very pale pink and very spotted. This is the one that has germinated like hundreds and thousands!
