Eve playing hide and seek.

I did wonder where she had disappeared to? One minute she was keeping me company while tidying the rockery, then, I spotted her investigating the inside of the chiminea!

She is lovely Kate. My cat has almost the same coloring.
They do love to investigate, don't they!

They do love a hollow space, don't they? She's so pretty.
Our kitten got stuck between the back of the kitchen drawer unit and the kitchen wall. OH had to drill a hole in the back to get her out. Not pleased - kitchen's only a year old. Now I have to watch her like a hawk...

Eve looks very cozy in there Kate. I think she's laying claim to the chimney

Thanks Lily, you must post some pics of your cat! I love to see him/her.
Thank you Ange, I do love her to bits! Crikey, I can only imagine the trauma for your cat and the both of you too! How on earth did that happen! It’s amazing how they manage to get into the oddest of places! New kitchen too! It’s almost like they know what they’re doing!!!
Thanks Paul, she does look really cozy doesn’t she! Oh and yes, I think it’s definitely another place in the garden for her to lay claim to! She’s met my parents for the first time today..little wary of them! However, she did entertain them while we were having our evening meal..chasing a field mouse around the garden! Bless, she lost out! The mouse managed to escape - after quite some time. 😆

Enjoy your time off Kate. I'm glad Eve is settling in nicely.

Thank you Paul, the week is going nicely so far. We had a warm day today. Took the parents to a lovely garden centre and had a nice lunch there. This evening we went to quite a large restaurant for dinner. All seem to be adhering to the rulings.
Eve is definitely settling well, thank you, wouldn’t be apart from her now. :-)

Thank you kindly, Amy. :-)

What a lovely photo Kate! It reminded me of Minnie, our cat who we don't have now. She was always hiding in unusual places!

Aw thank you Rose, that’s lovely - bet it brought back some fond memories too. 😊

I guess you’ll soon need your chiminea to warm up the chilly evenings. Let’s hope little Eve won’t try to jump inside then! Lovely pic 🙂.

Lovely. They like to investigate don't they?

Aw thanks Sheila, yep it’s usually when we have it lit - when scooping and hoovering up fallen leaves during autumn or tidying up in the cold months! Yes, we’ll have to watch her like a hawk!
Thank you Aleyna. They certainly do! Very curious aren’t they!

Lovely cat you have there Kate. Eve looks as though she is claiming everything as her own. They just love to hide in places when they can. There is a new cat that visits our garden and it got stuck on next doors flat roof. Gerry was cleaning the windows in the conservatory and it came over and meowed at him. I went into the garden and spoke to it, guided it over our conservatory, along the house gutter then on to the neighbours conservatory, to our shed and onwards to the fence at the bottom of the garden, where it jumped down.

Thank you Linda, that’s a lovely message! It sounds like you’ve both made a new friend! They definitely do get into the strangest and most awkward of places don’t they! Everything is an adventure for them! :-))
