Grown from seed from a fruit bought in the supermarket. Last year they were put in the greenhouse and I lost one but these two have muddled through being outside since April in the glorious sunshine. Back in the greenhouse now till next year and a nice fleece wraparound overcoat come November. Three smaller babies that appeared this year will overwinter in a cold frame to see how they survive.

Great looking see one, Thorneyside. Looks very lush and healthy, it sounds like it’ll be well protected in the greenhouse. Bet you’re pleased you’ve a few new ones to add to your garden.
