Trachycarpus fans removed today.

The lower fans were very yellow and some had turned brown.It's extremely high....only measured 18ins when I bought it 17 years ago.

I have one in a pot I bought from B & Q last year for a fiver. It's gone mad. I'm hoping to plant it out next year. Yours is a smasher.

Wow! It’s a real beauty, a lovely touch of the tropical climes. I do have one several years back, Julia. It was about 4 feet. Had to remove it due to our back extension being built - I wish we’d transplanted it elsewhere...
