Very artistic, Linda. Like the silhouetted chimneys too. We’ve had some beautiful skies in November, mornings and evenings...

Thanks Kate and Paul. There are some very old houses around and I love the old chimneys. We lived in an old Lodge down the road for 11 years that was dated 1795. It had a lovely feel to it and still had three of the original doors inside. It belonged to the Strutt estate and was one of four lodges built in Belper. It had quarter of an acre garden that I really loved and worked hard at it to get it looking really good. There was a part brick wall with old grey and red stone tiles on the floor of an old large greenhouse, so we had that built that in wood. It was all grade two so we had to abide by the rules, and we had to do a lot of work to the lodge, but it was worth it. You can have a look at www.knight-gkla.co.uk
If you want to, you can also see some of my poetry and paintings on Linda's page.

Very atmospheric. The sunrises and sunsets have been spectacular recently. Clever of you to catch it. They've usually vanished by the time I find a camera!
