I wrote this poem for Christmas.

In the silence.

On a calm clear night,
With stars shining bright
In the heavens above,
So full of love,
A child was born.
And whilst Angels rejoiced
Shepherds heard their voice,
And went to the stable,
And saw the child in a cradle,
Their hearts filled with love.
Although we feel apart,
Jesus is in our hearts,
And on that special night,
When the star shone bright,
The saviour of the world was born.
He is always there
Speak to him in prayer,
Although we are distanced,
We can show resistance,
By being together in love.
