The river is swollen today after the rain.

That looks threatening!

In the past this has flooded across the road and we've had to go to the shops via another higher route through country lanes.

I don't know if the river got to the level of the road, but we are going down the hill to have a look this morning. We are o.k. Paul thankyou. I feel sorry for the people who have had their homes flooded, especially at this time with the virus restrictions.

I do hope the banks didn’t burst, Linda. People have had such a bad time, it just seems never-ending.

The river is going down again, but the flow is still rapid. Some of the lower fields were flooded but the water levels are abating. It's misty this morning but we are expecting snow again today. - 2.8 at the moment. I always put food out for the birds and make sure that they have some water.
