What a very slender beak it has! Guess it has to be but doesn't it look fragile?

Thank you Sheila and Anget.

Sometime I am worried about their beaks as well Yorkslass,
Especially when they accidentally hit the window. They chase each other and fly very fast. They can also stop very fast.

SBG, everytime we go shopping the cashier asks if we do lots of baking.Yes, we buy lots of sugar for many feeders we have around. They empty them very quickly at this time of the year. Amazing how much such a small bird can consume.

What a capture your so lucky to have them the energy they must use with the speed of their wings and moving back and fore must take lots of energy..

Thanks Thruepenny for your comment. They need lots of nectar to support that energy.

I can imagine they do Klahanie I once watched a documentary on them they did say how much they need to consume each day to survive such energy.
