this is the first I have seen, not much in flower in the village as yet.

Have you tried cutting some in mid February for the house? You can get flowers indoors by late Feb/early March that way

Linda, I do that every year ready for my son's birthday on 2nd March - because when I brought him home from the hospital (in 1979!) there was a vase of it on the sideboard.
He doesn't see it but its there...
